The post-proccesor is a very flexible software product that is tuned for the customers' work convenience.

The main post-processor function is CAM-system codes translation into control program code (CNC code). Post-processors are tuned for a given CNC rack (Siemens, Heidenhein, Fanuc, MACH, etc.) and considers machine tool kinematics features (number of axes, working zone geometric position), as well as CNC rack additional options (coordinates monitoring function, 3D correction option, functionality of measurements on machine tools, etc.). Thus, the post-processor is a unique software product for each machine tool.

SC "PLM Ural" experts can tune and adjust post-processors for metal processing machine tools of any kind, - turn, turn and mill (including multi-channel ones*), mill (3, 4, and 5-axis), and electro-erosion machines.

PLM Ural experts have unique experience in tuning and commissioning post-processors with measurement functions support (for PowerINSPECT OMV system).

The CAM-system is a comprehensive software product for preparation of control programs for CNC machines. However, despite the CAM-system's degree of automation, the user should be able to adjust and control the CAM system to obtain the most efficient tool movement trajectory as a result.

Training to work efficiently in the CAM environment is one of the highest priority tasks of SC "PLM Ural". Competent training will allow the user to use metal processing equipment with maximum efficiency in the future.

Basic and specialized training courses are offered. Basic courses will help you master the main operating principles of CAM-systems when preparing control programs for three-axis processing, turning processing, and electro-erosion processing. Within the scope of the extended course, the user gets skills necessary for working with CAM-system on five-coordinate positional and continuous processing, as well as turn-mill and multi-channel processing.

SC "PLM Ural" offers a complex of services on processing implementation on customer's equipment, including development of design process of product mechanical processing, preparation of the process of product mechanical processing in the CAM-system, development of post-processors for machine tools which are designed for processing, cutting tools and cutting modes selection, machine tool testing for rack response speed, experimental definition of highly efficient processing modes (processing with high cutting speed / fast cutting feed).

ISV/CSE-driver is a module for processing checking and imitation using ready ISO-code. This driver allows the user to view, check, and evaluate the machine tool operation and reliability of the finished control program.

SC "PLM Ural" experts perform ISV/CSE-drivers setup for various equipment types (mill machines, turn machines, turn-mill machines, including multi-channel ones), which include the development of a kinematic 3D-model of a machine tool and CSE driver setup for a given pair of a machine tool and CNC rack. Each CSE driver considers the geometric possibilities of a machine tool and options available for the CNC rack.
